Film marketing research

1) The term "film marketing" is how companies promote films and types doing it. Examples include trailers, posters and standees. The most common is film trailers as they are shown on TV and before feature films start in cinemas. So film marketing is how films are advertised to the public.

2) A film poster is a form of film marketing. It is a still image of either characters from the film or a scene. It also sometimes features the names of the actors who play the characters and sometimes the production team as well. Posters may also feature the release date and if it is available to see in 3D. These are two examples of film posters...

3) A film trailer is another form of film marketing. It is a way of informing people of what the film is about by showing clips from the film. It may also have a voice over to help to describe the settings of the film. The voice over can also say the name of the actors as they appear on the screen. It can also tell you when the film is going to be released. I have recently seen a film trailer for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
