Advert Analysis

Colour: I have used orange, white and black because they are the colours of the product and it works best with the colour scheme. They are also colours that are thought to be more masculine.
Lighting: I have made the area around the description of the product as I wanted it to stand out more.
Slogans/ Wording: I described the product using words that appear on the can and what it is for. I also used language that is associated with technology to make it sound as if the product was developed with scientists as well as athletes.
Font: The font is bold because of the outline. The font is also medium sized so that all of it can be read. However, the white in orange is slightly bigger because it is the title.

Image Size: The image is quite big on the page so that the whole picture can be seen and all of its detail can be seen too.
Product: The can is shown so that people know what the product will look like when they buy it. The product doesn’t come in a box so this is what it will look like when it is on the shelves.
Other Images: I have also included the Adidas logo so that people know what company the product is being produced by.
Product Name/ Company Name: As the product is produced by Adidas, people may think the product is to do with sport as the logo is the sports logo not the Adidas Originals one.

Film marketing research

1) The term "film marketing" is how companies promote films and types doing it. Examples include trailers, posters and standees. The most common is film trailers as they are shown on TV and before feature films start in cinemas. So film marketing is how films are advertised to the public.

2) A film poster is a form of film marketing. It is a still image of either characters from the film or a scene. It also sometimes features the names of the actors who play the characters and sometimes the production team as well. Posters may also feature the release date and if it is available to see in 3D. These are two examples of film posters...

3) A film trailer is another form of film marketing. It is a way of informing people of what the film is about by showing clips from the film. It may also have a voice over to help to describe the settings of the film. The voice over can also say the name of the actors as they appear on the screen. It can also tell you when the film is going to be released. I have recently seen a film trailer for Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 1.
