Gay people in the news always seem to cause controversy especially when those are famous people. An example of this is Sir Elton John and when he adopted a baby boy. A lot of people disagree with gay people adopting as they think it is wrong since it is not natural for two men to have a baby.
Sir Elton John and David FurnishDue to this controversy, a lot of governments over the world forbid gay couples to adopt, for example, the Ukrainian government stopped Elton John's first attempt to adopt. Peronally, I don't mind what sexuality someone is, it should depend on how well they bring up the child, not based on their marital status.
Another example is in America a 14 year old boy who was confused about his sexuality, commited suicide over homophobic bullying and abuse. He filmed a video to take part in the "it gets better" campaign to help those who need support and for those who feel alone in their situation. The boy also felt that his school and community didn't really care about people commiting suicide.
