My film idea: Jumpers for Goalposts

My idea for a film is a football film. It starts with a boy and his dream of becoming professional. He supports Tottenham and the film spans from the 1980s to now. It covers his rise to fame and all the obstacles he has to overcome. These include drugs, rejection from clubs and the loss of parents. He does get his contract with Tottenham but still has a drug addiction and eventually is fired from Tottenham because of this and spends 6 months in rehab. After rehab he decides that he now hates Tottenham as the club and its supporters also feel the same about him. At the age of 33 (born in 1979) he gets his chance of redemption at Chelsea after realizing football was the only thing that really mattered to him. He spends most of the season on the bench, only making a handful of appearances. But Chelsea make it to the Champions League final which is against Tottenham. Spending most of the game receiving abuse from Tottenham fans whilst on the bench he comes on with 30 mins to go. He gets booed by both sets of fans. The game goes to extra time, Chelsea coming back from 3-0 down to make it 3-3. There are two minutes to go and the ball comes to him. He is 30 yards out with several players around him in better positions but he shoots and scores. He then reveals that he was wearing a Tottenham shirt to the fans and both sets applause him but he then takes off the shirt and urinates on it. He is then detained by stewards and is given a red card, sent off and the fans go on to boo him. He retires two days later.

Real players, managers and footage feature in the film
He is played by numerous actors depending on the time period.
