Conventions of an Action film
The conventions of an action film are that there are usually some sort of fighting scenes in them involving car chases, explosions and gun fights. They are also usually shot in big cities that are famous or secret locations depending on whether it is a spy film or not. Again, depending on if it is a spy film or not the film will usually have a hero whether it be the spy or someone who has some sort of special skills in a specific area.
